Responsible Citizenship Badge Assessment Outline
Brownies should complete the activities or challenges in all three parts of the assessment – “Individual”, “Family” and “Community”. Ask your parents or guider to sign each item after you have completed it.
Individual

Honesty
Tell your guider(s) or family members a story about honesty and share what you have learnt. -
Decision making
Make a decision in your unit by voting, e.g. choosing the Unit Outstanding Brownie, dividing jobs among your unit members, deciding on an activity for your Brownie Six, choosing a refreshment snack for the enrolment ceremony, etc. -
Self-discipline
Establish a good habit for at least two weeks consecutively, e.g. cleaning your room, packing your schoolbag by yourself, etc.
Family

Respect for the elderly
Do something nice for an elderly in your family, e.g. giving him or her a massage, going on a morning walk with him or her, etc. -
Cooperation
Cooperate with your family members to accomplish a goal, e.g. baking a cake, knitting a cardigan, etc.
Community

Civic responsibility
Participate in a service project in your school or the community, e.g. flag selling, raffle ticket selling, beach cleaning, etc.
