Responsible Citizenship Badge Assessment Outline

Guides should complete the activities or challenges in all three parts of the assessment – “Individual”, “Family” and “Community”. Ask your guider to sign each item after you have completed it.

Individual

1. Honesty

   Find a story about honesty and write a self-reflection in no fewer than 50 words.

2. Lending a helping hand
   Draw a cartoon describing an experience of helping others.

3. Empathy
   List five occasions where you showed empathy for others.

Family

1. Harmonious relationships
   Recall five happy moments with your family members.

2. Respect for the elderly
   Interview an elderly person, record the conversation and share with your assessor his or her life experiences.

Community

1. Civic responsibility
   Participate in two service projects in your school, the community or the HKGGA within two months.
