Responsible Citizenship Badge Assessment Outline

Happy Bees should complete the activities or challenges in all three parts of the assessment – “Individual”, “Family” and “Community”. Ask your parents or guider to sign each item after you have completed it.

Individual

1. Honesty

   Read a book about honesty with your family members and write a book report on it.

2. Care for others

   Design a card or handicraft with your family members and give it to someone you care about.

3. Goal setting

   Establish a good habit with your family members for at least one week, e.g. eating vegetables, doing exercise, cleaning up your toys by yourself, having meals by yourself, etc.

Family

1. Respect for the elderly

   Phone or visit an elderly person at least once to show your respect.

2. Cooperation
   Work with your family members in making a food item and paste a picture of the product in the logbook.

Community

1. Respect

   Draw a thank you card for someone who works in the service industry to show your appreciation.
